Abacus survey programming team specializes in scripting online and CATI surveys consisting of routing, piping, randomization and complex matrices. We have designed surveys imbibing complex logic, quota management in multiple languages with audio/video/flash multimedia support.
Our team of survey programmers on an average has 5+ years of experience in survey programming using widely known and trusted tools like Dimensions, ConfirmIT, SurveyCraft, Net-MR & mrInterview (mrStudio Interview Module). We are trained and experienced in using programming languages like JavaScript, HTML and ASP which further helps us create the right kind of look and feel, navigation, and flow to engage the interviewee. We can also adapt to any other survey programming software based on your needs and current requirements and can suggest an accelerated training process, where our programmers can easily be trained on other proprietary tools.
Before hosting the survey or passing the final survey link to the client to host we follow Multi-Step Quality assurance at our end and run a battery of quality checks at various levels, where each survey goes through several quality checks at programmer level-supervisor level-and finally it goes through a dedicated team specialized in Beta Testing for testing and quality control to meet the high standards of our clients. |

The programming, hosting and data collection for this study were managed by Abacus.
The deliverables included
• Recommendations and customization of the questionnaire for online research
• Designing the layout of the interface, including the templates to be used
• Programming the online survey in English
• Adapting the online survey for CATI
• Translating the online survey into eight languages

The programming, hosting and data collection for this study were managed by Abacus.
The deliverables included
• Designing the master brand lists for the tracker, including brands featured in past waves and allowing for brand additions in future waves
• Programming the online survey in English
• Translating the online survey into the regional languages
• Hosting the survey
• Monitoring the fieldwork
• Real time reporting on data collected during fieldwork
• Data validation
• Formatting of the data files, in line with the data map of the previous waves, to facilitate the data processing of cumulative wave data
• Delivery of formatted clean data that can be merged with data from previous waves
|
| Benefits |
For the first time since the launch of this tracker study, a common survey program and data collection tool was used across multiple regions. This allowed for better change management for the tracker across waves as well as better turnaround times. The data formats were uniform across the regions, resulting in faster and easier processing of the data. |
